Sunday, March 27 rougher seas
More of an adventure walking around the deck! Promenade deck closed. Otherwise a similar day to the others.
Morning lecture was more on Cold War espionage. Fascinating. He showed pictures of various spy ships, including the Pueblo, but didn’t show COBRA Judy, where I spent time in California and Japan. We had lunch in the dining room, which took too long so we missed bridge. The afternoon lecture by the Viking Resident Historian was on navigation.
At 5 we got together in the Ferran’s state room (next door to ours) for champagne and snack. Marie and Amine Ali-Hassan came also. The champagne is replenished by our steward whenever it is consumed. We will do a similar thing in a couple of days at the A-H room.
Then we went for dinner at the Chef’s Table. The theme was spices of the West Indies and the pepper tuna was especially great.
After dinner we went to another concert by Doug Cameron, followed by our next to last Spring ahead, to London time in the morning.
