Home again – 10/29/16

We got off to a late start in Albany, but knew that the trip would be short. We got gas at a rest stop in Massachusetts and we’re among the first people to try the new toll setup which eliminates toll collectors. We then continued to I-290 and I-495. We stopped at Wholefoods in Westford, MA and then got in around 4. We went almost 8000 miles on the Hertz car.

Travelling with a small dog, we learned a few things. BringFido.com can usually find you a hotel, and the other thing is to get a La Quinta rewards ID and use it. All LaQ’s are pet friendly, and very nice. Our hotel room last night was a two room suite that was possibly the best room of the trip.
