July 5 – Start of Seaglass Tour
We got up and had breakfast and then drove to the Dublin Airport, where we met our Music Celebrations International guide, Anne, and the other chorale members who had just flown over. After loading into the bus, we went on a tour of Dublin. The first stop was at the Remembrance Garden, which remembers those of all sides who were lost in the fight for Irish freedom. The Hugh Lane Gallery was also opened, so we went through and saw many impressionist paintings, and had tea and scones.
We then went to the EPIC, the museum of emigration, which was quite interesting. After that, we went to the shopping district and walked around for a while. After that, the bus returned us to the Green Isle Hotel, where we relaxed in our room and then went down for dinner.
