July 7 – More rehearsals and a field trip

On Friday, we had a morning rehearsal at DCU.  Susan rode in with us and took a taxi to the Dublin Zoo, where they have a baby white rhino, among other interesting fauna.  After the rehearsal, the bus took us out into the country to Glendalough, which was a ruin of an ancient monastery.  The scenary was fabulous.  We also had a lovely lunch at their visitor center.  We then returned to the hotel, and later were driven to Christ Church Cathedral, where the concert would be on Saturday. We spent quite a while figuring out how to get all of those people onto the risers and then had a rehearsal.
