September 16 – Day 2 – Bergen
We walked out after breakfast and went to the Hanseatic Museum, which is a recreation of the way merchants lived in the 1500’s, when Germans ran all of the trade in the Baltic region. They lived separately from the locals. We then went to the Norway Fisheries Museum which was quite interesting. We then returned to the ship for various activities, including a lecture about the Hanseatic League by the resident historian. We had dinner at the Pool Bar, which we will not do again (too much chlorine smell). After dinner we went to briefing on the next day in Eidfjord.
Rainy day and dark in museums, so no interesting pictures until we were leaving the harbor.
