Wednesday 13 June – Meissen

The boat, Viking Astrild, left Dresden early and arrived in Meissen around 8:30. We left for a tour of the Meissen Porcelain facility.  The process is completely by hand.  They have over 600 employees now, having had more in the past, including during the Communist era.
