Friday – Nov 15 – Potsdam & Berlin

We left the boat in Wittenberg after breakfast and began a tour of Potsdam and ended at the Berlin Hilton.  After driving for over an hour through scenic little villages and small towns (all in former East Germany, as all of the trips for) we arrived in Potsdam (not the one I was born in, rather the one where the name came from).  We first went to Schloss Cecilionhof, which was the palace of the last crown prince, who never became Kaiser because of the abdication of his father after WW1.  Here is a picture of the royal couple.  Look how much they look like members of the British royal family.
