Paris Trip Starting Post

Our first week will be at a VRBO apartment near the Eiffel Tower, followed by a Viking Cruise to Normandy.

We are all set for tonight’s flight to Paris. We will arrive at 6:10 AM (1:10 to our bodies) and take a taxi to the apartment, where they have promised to let us in early. We finished all of our COVID-related items and now have both US and EU QR codes to let us in places. Since our plane is 6:30 or so tonight, we had our PCR tests on Friday evening to allow 72 hours and actually got the results by the next afternoon.

Yesterday I pulled up the dahlia and other flower roots for storage over the winter. We usually wait until they have been frost-killed, but since we have not had a frost yet near the Maine coast, I had to cut off the leaves. Also got some bulbs planted for next year.
