The scenery here is fabulous. The first order of business in the morning was a walk with Lila near the parking lot of our hotel. We are in the Canadian Rockies. Once we left Calgary, they were in front of us and gorgeous. We are staying in the Lake Louise Inn and will be here for three nights. We expect to explore and hike over the next few days. I stopped and took a couple of pictures on the way.
We had a long drive from Moosomin, SK to Medicine Hat, AB with snow coming down for whole drive. We stopped for lunch in Moose Jaw, SK at Boston Pizza, a nice chain restaurant. The Birchville Motel in Nipigon was lovely. The room was very clean and spacious, despite having two beds and it had a fridge and microwave. There was no breakfast included so we ate in the room and headed out early. The drive was easy and we stopped a few times along the way at a Continue Reading
We stayed in the Howard Johnson Hotel in Sault Ste Marie had breakfast in the hotel, loaded up and headed out. We had a relaxing morning in Hotel Champlain, walking Lila and having breakfast. The place was so dog-friendly that she stayed with us while we had breakfast.
