An actual shore excursion!!! We had an early room service breakfast and were off on a tender to shore around 8 AM. Puerto Montt is a 45 deg south, so roughly the Canadian border of New Hampshire and Vermont, and a lovely summer day. The captain just told us that the winds were around 80 knots and that the port of Punta Arenas has closed. So more glaciers today. Here is the first. Cape Froward is the southernmost point on the South American continent. Note cross on top
