Monday, March 28 – onward

34°N 22°W Proceeding toward arriving at Cádiz on Wednesday. In UK summer time zone now, will go final one hour ahead to European Summer Time (GMT+2) probably this evening.

Another laid back day. We had an appointment with the cruise consultant on the ship, and actually played a game of old fashioned Scrabble, which we hadn’t done in years. Susan won by a few points. We are used to Words With Friends on the iPads and had to get used to where the double word scores were.

Anyway the cruise consultant told us more about the Buenos Aires to Santiago de Chile trip and we will probably sign up for January of 2024. Looks pretty neat. We already have a 2023 UK Explorer cruise scheduled.

After lunch we decided to go around the sun deck, since the seas were calmer. The wind was still substantial, so we settled down on aft of the ship near the “infinity pool” and read for a few hours.

After that, we returned to the state room and did some laundry. In the evening we had dinner with Amine and Marie and then went to a concert by guitarist Vincenzo Martinelli.
