Saturday, Feb 4 – Long Walk and Taxi to Malecón

We relaxed in the room until 11 or so and Susan and I went on a long walk past lots of the really big hotels, past a golf course and eventually back to the Marina. We had lunch at Fajita Banana and then went back to the room. John and Vicki, in the meantime, went to the pool and had lunch there. In the afternoon, we took a taxi from the hotel to the Malecón, a large boardwalk area. We first went past a bunch of shops and then had ice cream on the boardwalk. After that, we took a taxi back to the hotel. I have 8000 steps so far, and Susan many more.

In the evening we talked for a while and then went back over to Amá for dinner. We had a break from Mexican food and had lovely steaks. Returning to the hotel, we basically went right to bed.
