Day 2, 10 Jan 23, Buenos Aires

We got up around 9 am and went to breakfast at Mamsons, our favorite breakfast spot on the ship (deck 7 forward). After that we proceeded to the Star Theater and then to our shore excursion “Tango Show and Lunch”. The bus dropped us off and we walked around a corner to get to the restaurant.

We went down to the restaurant and had a nice meal followed by the show. The dancers were amazing as was the music.

Did I mention that the temperature was 84 degrees in Buenos Aires. Just like July in the US. After the lunch, we returned to the ship. We watched a lecture on the Perons and then had dinner at the Chef’s Table. Absolutely wonderful.

After dinner, we went to Torshavn to listen to Paulo, who sang and played the guitar and pleased all of the aging boomers by playing James Taylor stuff, Happy Together, Sweet Caroline and “Bye Bye Miss American Pie”. Lots of singing along.
