Day 18 – 26 Jan – Home

At 2:45, I woke up ahead of the alarm and we finished up in the room and headed downstairs for a 3:30 am bus.  The bus got us to the AirCanada terminal in the Santiago airport and we checked in for the flight.  The plane was scheduled to leave at 9 am, but had been delayed to 10:45.  We went and waited in the Star Alliance lounge.  It was not as great as the one in JFK, but we had a little food, juice and tea and decaf.  The plane left on the new time arriving around 7 PM in Toronto. We again had the lie flat seats, some of the electronics didn’t work.  In Toront, since it was January 26, we called or texted the birthday folks, Anna, Zane and Maxipus. The Then a short hop to Boston, picked up by our limo and home to Lila and Max.  We were in bed by 12:45, curiously 24 hours exactly to when we awoke in Valparaíso.
